This year’s North Georgia Cattle Baron’s Ball mission moment will support the American Cancer Society’s efforts to improve outcomes for children facing cancer and provide hope for their families. Together, we can help fund programs and research that:
We are honored to introduce a very special family whose courage and strength represent the heart of our mission for the Cattle Baron’s Ball.
Our Honorary Family knows firsthand how quickly a cancer diagnosis can change everything. At just five months old, their daughter, Billie, was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. Although the diagnosis required the removal of her right eye, we are grateful that she did not need chemotherapy. However, because Billie has an RB1 gene mutation, she will require lifelong monitoring and care due to her increased risk of developing additional cancers.
By bravely sharing their journey, Billie and her family remind us how important it is to raise lifesaving funds, advance cancer research, support families, and create hope for every child facing cancer.
