Our 2027 North Georgia Cattle Baron's Ball Chairs

     Brittany & Justin Ducharme

Event Chairs

It is an honor to serve as chairs for this year’s Cattle Baron’s Ball, working alongside our community, executive board, and auction committee to host Georgia’s inaugural event. Our personal experiences with cancer have deepened our understanding of its far-reaching impact — not only on physical health, but also on emotional well-being and financial stability. Witnessing the challenges, heartbreak, and loss experienced by friends and loved ones has inspired us to give back and join the fight against this devastating disease.

Bruce Nelson

Event Co-Chair

Cancer has touched countless lives, including our own family. My wife has courageously battled breast cancer twice and is a living testament to the importance of continued research, lifesaving treatments, and hope for a cure.

For the past 11 years, I have proudly partnered with the American Cancer Society in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles. I have served on the Georgia local board, participated in and chaired Men Wear Pink campaigns, and supported both Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Relay For Life events. I am now honored to serve as Co-Chair for the inaugural Cattle Baron Ball.

I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to help build a lasting and impactful new tradition in Georgia, and I feel fortunate to work alongside Justin and Brittany to make this event truly special.

Together, we hope to set new records, raise critical funds, and support the American Cancer Society’s mission to improve the lives of cancer patients everywhere through groundbreaking research, advocacy, and care.
